The Fuzi Temple in Nanjing was originally constructed in the year of 1034 in the song dynasty. it was a place to worship and consecrate Confucius, the great philosopher and educator of ancient china. This temple suffered repeated damage and has been rebuilt on several occasions since that time.
During this May holiday (5.1.2009), I went to Fuzi Temple to see the Fair whit my mother. Fuzi Temple Fair was holding every year. Every year I would go there, because I like the snake in there and some other interesting toy. This fair was very successful; there were many kinds of snake and different characteristic subjects. I bought 5 packages of odd taste bean, Maltose, swelled candy rice, black sesame slice and much tegument sugar. Then I also bought two strings of “Candied haws on a stick”
I like this Fair very much, because this wonderful fair can expresses the feature of Chinese style. If foreigners coming, they can buy some Chinese subjects here. You can know some nationality culture of China and lasting history of China. After visiting this Fair, you will know more about China and I am sure you will like China certainly!
I assume that as a Chinese we should develop and expand our Chinese feature and culture. We have responsibility to let foreigners know our country. So we should learn more about our country first. Maybe visit some Fairs like this is a good choice.
So we should learn our culture, impress our culture, let other to know our culture!

4.30.2009 I went alone with my mother to Nanjing Mo Chou road church to have service. Mo Chou road church is located in Mo Chou road #309,it is the earliest church in Nanjing . This church and female middle school facing each other, and it next to the Nanjing Maternity and Child health care Hospital.
Tomorrow, I went to Mo Chou Road church to clean the church, and chanted the poem. From 8:30 to 9:00 I followed the priest and chanted the poem. After the chanting, I cleaned the desks and chairs for nearly one and an half hour. I used the rag to wash every desks and chairs very carefully. I know church is a blest place, so I should use my heart to do my duty. I cleaned ten long-chairs and platform. First I used the dry rag to cleaned the chairs and then I bemoistened the rag and use the wet rug to wash the chairs. At least, I washed the dirty rug and made it dry, then wiped the wet chairs. After cleaning chairs, I started wiping platform, I cleaned out dust on the platform and made it more brightnessly.
I like this experiences, I had never been to church before, so it was my first time to go to the church. I like the feeling of church, blest but amiable. I felt very safe when I stayed in the church, but I don’t know why. I think this experiences were very interesting. I learn more about Christianism and enjoyed the poem of them.
Catholicism advocates human being start with a clean slate, if you do it ,God will save and forgive you mistakes. But if you never confess, God will punish you forever. Believer believe when the ending of the earth is coming, all of the people will stand in front of the God. God will put the guilty people into the hell, let the guiltless human into the heaven.

Volunteer for Junyong Sugar Alcohol Subsidiary Foodstuff Corporation Ltd
Lately, I was a volunteer for Junyong Tobacco and Alcohol Subsidiary Foodstuff Corporation Ltd. This company decided to hold a sales promotion. So I went to the company and helped them to sale the alcohol.
During the selling, I should communicate with others and tried my best to sell them our products, At first, I was a little shy to talk with others. I always lowered my head and talked in little voice. At that time , people always lost patient and went away. Afterword, my uncle told me I should be confident and talked loudly, in this way, I would sold more products.
So I according to my uncle’s advises, started talking loudly. At the free time, I observed the alcohol’s advertisement carefully and learned more about those products. Then I had more confident to communicate with others. Because I knew more about those alcohol than before. There was a old lady, she wanted to buy our alcohol to present others. So she asked which kind is the best one, I answered,” which kind of people you want to present?” “my son” she said .” You son? I assume maybe you can choose someone cheap and wonderful. Maybe the packaging is not very magnificence, but the alcohol is very well. So i suggest you choose this one,” Then I gave her a great one, and she left with satisfaction. That was the first time I sold product. So I was very excited.
During this experience, I know the important of communication, currently, I should change myself to be a confident person. I think a salesman should have communication ability and enough patient., because of some gough baby. So you can not have a brannigan with them, customer is our god. We should respect customer , they are always right. Sometime the criticism of customer are our treasure. So we should accept the suggestions modesty.
When you get into society, you must see the many kinds of people, but you should adapt them and accept them. When some time some people you cannot bear, you should protect yourself, bearing is not a good way to adapt the society. You should say” please don’t regard me as coward!” You should let other know you length and let them respect you. So the first step is you should communicate with others, Let them know the length of you, then maybe sometimes they would think about you and use you , then you would have chance to have a promotion. You also should be an easygoing person. Like this selling, if you can not be a easygoing person, people didn’t want to talk with you, didn’t even to say anything about buy alcohol. So I assume communication is a very important abilities , you should try you best to convince others, before this, you must learn the knowledge about you working.
From my according, this first thing is get enough knowledge, the second thing is convince others, the third thing is let other respect you !

At 12.31.2009, I went to Olympic sports center to enjoy the least performance in 2008 with my uncle and aunt. As I knew, this is the least performance at Nanjing in 2008. So I went to this performance, also for the portfolio.
I entered the hall at 7:30, the performance started at 7:30. when I entered, many people have arrived. I assumed all of them want to witness the coming of 2009. NOKIA’s vice president Mr. Deng also arrived. Olympic center was full of the new year’s atmosphere. I can saw the advertisement about “Music lets me say LOVE!” anywhere. This performance developed around the topic”LOVE” . And many stars came to sing like JJ, Taozhe, Zhang liangying, Mo wenwei. Wang ruolin, Hu yanbin and so on. Those stars put the atmospheres to the highest place many times. Along with the coming of count down, every person were very excited! They looked forward to seeing the 2009.1.1’ s coming.
I like this performance very much, it was very exciting, everyone were so excited. During this performance ,I can felt the atmosphere of New year, and I ate much food, I like the feeling of listening accompany with eating. I like New year very much , when the mew year coming , I can image the new year happily. After this performance I felt the important of LOVE. May be we cannot live without loving. Nothing is more important than love, love is around us , love is anywhere. We should use our real heart to love people who you want to love, open your heart to love and don’t care of hunt.

Visit a calligraphy Exhibition
In March 8, 2009, I visited a calligraphy exhibition with my mother. This exhibition showed many calligraphy, but every production all be wrote by women, because march 8 is International Women's Day (IWD). So Nanjing culture center held a woman calligraphy exhibition for 3 days. The exhibition started at 9:00 a.m to 11:00 a.m. march 8 was the last day show it . I like calligraphy, my grandmother told me there would hold a calligraphy exhibition, so in march 8 I went to the Nanjing culture center to visit this charming exhibition.
The production all very wonderful, the oldest writer is 89 years old, the youngest writer is 18 years old. From my according , the writer are all the doughty female in work. They do very good in calligraphy, so they must do very wonderful in their career too.
I found 1 pieces of artwork are very interesting. One artwork is wrote by a girl who are only 18 years old, the there were only 4 Chinese character in the paper. They were “巾帼英雄”. First I like this idiom very much, second this idiom is describe women as a hero. The most important is the Chinese character were wrote very good. You can not image such a beautiful production was produced a 18 years old girl.
I think the exhibition was very exticing. I like it very much. I have seen many calligraphy exhibition , but I never seen the women calligraphy exhibition. I observed every artwork very carefully, a guide introduced every artwork for me, she made sure me know all the words in the artwork. Because some Chinese character are not simplified character, maybe some are oracle bone inscriptions, so the guide explained it to me. Anyway, this woman calligraphy exhibition is very successful and attracted many people to go. I like it !

Have a western dinner with my mother
In March 12, 2009, my mother took me to a German restaurant called German garden restaurant .This nice restaurant is stands in the Nanjing water plaza. My mother had been here already with her.friends. She said the environment of this restaurant is very good, and has authentic taste . So my mother took me to this German restaurant .we all know, German is famous for beef, so this restaurant have many table like a beef bucket, I think it is very interesting and characteristic. We entered the restaurant maybe at 6:30p.m and finished the dinner maybe at 7:20p.m.
I like the German food very much, specially the German sausage, the taste of the sausage is very good. The smell of the sausage is very nice. When I nosed the smell of the German sausage, I felt my slaver will come out. The other characteristic German food also very wonderful. I also drunk some beef which came from German. Although my mother likes it very much, but I don’t like that. As for the environment, very good, very clean, I felt the German style when I entered the German garden restaurant.
The other people almost were couple. I think this is a good place for dating. And the service is very good. The waiter introduced the food for us fervidly. The chief’s speed was very quickly, maybe 5 minutes after I asking, the food were represented.
I think it is a very good restaurant, but so sorry I haven’t recommend the restaurant to others. But now, I introduce the German garden restaurant for you, believe me, this is a good choice for western dinner.

Physical activity

Playing badminton is a sport haven’t many lifestyle and physical limitations. If you legs are well and you arms are well of course, you can play badminton. Playing badminton can consume one’s energy successfully. It is a good way to train regularly to keep fit.
During this winter holiday, I went to a fitness centre to play badminton with my coach. When I was 15 years old, I was played the badminton for two months at another fitness centre, after that time, playing badminton attracts my attention. Since I played badminton with my mother on every Saturday and Sunday morning. It is fit that playing badminton every weekend for 40 minutes, but this time I could play badminton for 2.5 hours each time. At the very beginning, after playing badminton, my arms were very aching that leaded the next day I could not wave my right arm expertly. But my told me I should persevere in the sporting. Because of my mother’s words, I decided to go on playing badminton, I played it for 2.5 hours and relaxed my arms after playing. After three days , i adapt myself little by little.
From this experience I know how to play badminton well and beautiful. I learned how to kick off the ball wonderful that can make you enemy couldn’t catch your ball. Then my coach taught me how to catch the ball. When I was playing badminton I should gaze at the shuttlecock very carefully, then you could catch the ball accurately without the wrong. When we play badminton we should play neatly don’t fear perspiration.
Originally I chose to play badminton just because I thought badminton is easy to learn, but after learning I know nothing is easy, if you want to success on one thing, you should attempt to do it, nothing is easy in this world.
One time, I hunted my right elbow when I was catching the ball, the ball was flying away above my head and I wanted to catch it, so I ran to it and spare no effort, maybe the floor is too slippery or I ran too quick, so I fell over myself and my elbow beat on the floor. I felt a bad feeling spread my arm. I didn’t want to play again, my coach asked me to sit beside, I conceived he would not let me to play the whole class, but after five minutes, my coach told me to play againt him for five go-around, oh, on, my elbow was hunted, even though I didn’t want to play badminton, but coach requested me to play, so I only follow the coach to play the badminton and bore the ache. After this lesson, my coach told me you shouldn’t just because of this little ache, to give up the training！
Playing badminton is a very interesting sport, it can keep fit and make your slimmer than others. And improve your willpower. I love playing badminton, I will play badminton forever.

School Club

School Club
At the beginning of this term, I joined the bicycle club. Because I like riding bicycle and go school by bike everyday. So I selected to join this club. Maybe I have a brither so I like sports. My brother like sports and affected me.
We have ten members in this club and have activity twice a week. Sometimes Mr.Gallinelli Mr.Harries and Mrs.Hardly would join us. They led us , took us to many placese where our never gone. During the activity, we should have the team spirit, we should take care of others, because somebody in our team doesn’t have enough sinew. So we must rid slowly to wait them. Everytime we should took enough water, maybe someone’s water was used up, in that time you should lend your water to your fellow rider.And we must know the importance of cooperate, there is not only you in the whole team ,there are many people in the whole team,we should cooperate with others. We hope we can cooperate even more closely in the future, then we can improve the efficiency.
As you know, biking is a hard exercise, we should not only have physical force, but have enough stamina.Maybe it is one Km of the end ,but at that time you are too tired and don’t want to move again, so you fail. All thing considered, riding can do exercises many way of one’s personality.
Biking club can not only improve you physical force and stamina, but can tell you the important of cooperate. I am proud of the member in our club all very united.But our club’s demerit is we can not did very good when teachers aren’t lead us, we should attempt to finish a whole activity by ourself.
I think this club is very suitable for me, I want to improve my physical force, when I was in primary school I got tummy bug, then I had been requested at hospital everyday and ate light food everyday everymeal, that led my body was not very well, so I wanted to improved my physical strength for a long time. So my brother always took me to do exercises, that increase my interest of physical education. And this club provide me a opportunity to do it. We did two hours every times, not very long and not short, it can advance our main.One time, we started at Nanjing foreign language school with three teachers they were Mr.Gallinelli Mr.Harries and Mrs.Hardly,then we went to Purple Mountain, Maque, Xinzhuang, at least we went back to our dear school. Even though the process of the biking was quite tired, but when we finished the activity at school, we all very happy, we know we should taste the hardship before successing.
From this club, I realized not only the important of cooperate, but friends are in a very important character in your life. When you tired you want to your friend can help you, friend can take care of you outside. If we don’t have friend we wouldn’t have this wonderful biking club.

At team 3, I joined the Movie Club. When the first time I attended the meeting , the leader asked us to prepare a show, and three teachers would come and remark on our show. The greatest one would get a present. So we stared our first task.. I assume the most important ability in this club is sociality ability. Because the leader choose group by random.. Maybe your partner are some students in other class. So you should communicate with them, and work together.
Because of the first important task, our group member stayed at Jackson’ room together and talked about the task, then stared working. If you want to finish the task wonderfully, you should have the sense of responsibility and team spirit. We spent one week for this task. When the show day came, we all tried our best to act.
I am a shy people, specially when I have acting or presentation in front of others, I hope I can change my weakness during the movie acting, and be more confident!

Be a volunteer on the Nanjing subway

I was a volunteer in Nanjing subway during this winter holiday. I provided the service to the persion who don’t know how to buy the ticket. I stood by the machine that can sell the ticket automatically.Beacuse this is a new machine, so there are many people like elder don’t know how to buy the ticket. When they in an awkward situation because of don’t know how to buy the ticket I will give them help.
From this experience, I have new opinion about Nanjing subway. I thought our subway would be worse after several years, but after 5 years our subway also as wonderful as 5 yeara ago.First,the environment is very good, the staff politeness is beautiful. They smile every time, they have enough patient to explain everything about our subway for their passengers. There are many small shops like eating shop near the subway, can provided food and else for people. Every morning, subway’s volunteer would give any passenger a newspaper by free, you can read newspaper on the way. Our subway also have moved TV, you watch TV on the subway to enjoy the time in the way to work.
Because I am a volounteer so I didn’t earn any money during this work.But I gained the praise from the passengers, from the worker who working in the subway ,also from my mother .And I know whenever I was wherever I stay, I must be a helpful person, because I felt that helping is happiness. Happiness is the perfume you cannot pour on others without getting a few drops on yourself. I want to be useful for anybody who need my help.
If you working in your own, you must be a natural and poised person. The cannot too nervous to talk with others, if you are too nervous you cannot give help to others, so first you should talk with others naturally so that you can express you sentences exactly, then you can help others.
If you working in a group, you must know how to divide the hard work into easy work.You cannot be selfish for you partner. You should know you partner is the most important person when you are working. You must know what is self-surrendered.
From this experience I learnt we should be a helpful and patient people when you provide the service to the people. You should try you best to do everything you work in hand.Everthing becomes miracle if you are dedicated to doing all the work in hand, However you task are very heavey,you must hold the line,you must finish you work beautifully, you should know the importance of you work.Now we are still students.We cannot feel adult’s press. The are very tired after working for a whole day. I know my parents are very tired after their working, I should be a good student and good daughter alike.
There were so happy I can be a volunteer in Nanjing subway during the winter holiday, although it was a little tired, but I can felt the happiness from that, and I know the hardship of my parents!

This dinner is very special, there were 13 people in all, I like this feeling, many people had dinner together, we were vary happy.
The western food doesn’t like Chinese food, the taste of food were strong. But i like this taste. I think the steak was hard. I couldn't eat it easily. And the pork was spicy, I don't eat spicy, so I didn't eat the pork. The salad were sour, I like sour, so I ate many salad. The ltaly pasta was very nice, the taste was wonderful. I like it, because it was the only food I ate… Maybe I can not adapt into western country’s taste. So I didn’t eat too much, but I am sure I like western food, so I decided to be tempered in chillies. After tempering I can eat much western food. Oh yeah!
After dinner we talk about together, East told us something about IEFTS and TOEFL. He asked us to study hard, and other students from grade 12 told us some interesting things about their life, at least, we played game together, and we talked about our future, we thought about our future, and at least we appoint we will have dinner together again when we all have time. I felt very excited!
Western country has different cultures with Eastern country. Food is one kind of cultures. I think the hygiene of Western food is better than the hygiene of eastern food. Because per person has their own foot in their dish. But in china, everybody get food from the same planet, I think it is poor hygiene.

On December 14th,our class went to Wu Weishan’s sculpture exhibition.This exhibition was hold on the Nanjing University.,
I like this exhibition very much..I have heard Wu Weishan already,so I have this choose to enjoy his artwork,I felt very happy.His artwork are really wonderful!His artwork both traditional and contemporary.Some of the artwork are describe the China’memory,but some artwork are describe the modern.This two styles are differently,they show me the different feeling.When you see the traditional artwork,the old culture will appear in front of you eyes.His artwork are really ture to life.
My favourite artwork is “sleeping boy”This artwork used many shapes like circle,rectangle,ellipse and so on.This artwork’s color is silvery grey and the artwork made by clay.When I saw this artwork first time,I thought the artwork isn’t very wonderful.But after looking carefully,I thought this artwork is perrty good.The sleeping boy like a real boy!The sleeping boy made me think about angel.This little boy like a sleeping angel.Because angel is cute,and quiet,this boy also cute and quiet.He was in a deep sleep.the mouth was open.The manner was so cute.
The artwork remind me to think about an old photo about me when I was a little baby,in that photo I was sleeping on a platform balance.The doctor wanted to test my
Weight.At that time,my mouth was opened too,and I was in a deep sleep.This artwork relate the harmony in the world,the harmony in the baby heart.This artwork is very calm.Show a feel like quiet and harmony.The artist want to show people the harmony in the world and tell people don’t debate everything,just quiet and happy.
I like the “sleeping boy”very much.!This artwork is very natural,shows me a feeling of harmony ,I like this feeling very much!The sleeping boy’s manner makes me like this artwork,his manner is very relaxed and harmony.it can make everybody relax too.I think other people might appreciate the artwork.Because first this artwork is a prize-winning work,so it must has itself attraction.Secound this artwork is very simple and honest.I think many people like baby.after you looking yhis artwork,you must like this artwork and like baby than before.
I think Mr.Wu’s artwork all show the realest emotion of people. Can touch our heart.

We went to Wu Weishan's sculpture exhibition on november,the sculpture arts is being shown.This arts are very wonderful.The artwork made by one artist,deep admiration for Mr.Wu. His artwork both traditional and contemporary.
