On this monday,11th December we had a class about Suzhou Garden from Mr.Zhao.He comes from Nanjing Forestry University. He is a great professor. He introduced the scenery, the ancient building in the Suzhou Garden and so on. Suzhou garden was a private garden a long time ago.Arisrocrat,eunuch,built it.First,Mr.Zhao told us the landscape in Suzhou garden.Landscape at there is very special and exquisite.the garden have river ,bridge,stone arch bridge,rockery,courtyard ,and so on.Designers paied attention to the arrangement of Suzhou garden.there are many kinds of plant ,the plants are very special and beautiful..The courtyards in the Suzhou garden are very plain and exquisite,but the courtyards have a special feel that make you love it.My favourite courtyard is "Canglang ting"."Canglang Ting" before the money for the Five Dynasties Wu Yue Wang Miao son of the pool of money Yuan-liang Museum. Song Dynasty poet Su Shun-qin to 40,000 under Fei Yuan Guan money to buy, build, Bangshui made booths, due to flu in the "Canglangzhishui-Xi, Zhuo Wu Ying; Canglangzhishui muddy Xi, I can Zhuo foot" , Entitled "Canglang Ting", since, Canglang Weng, and "Canglang Ting mind." Ouyang Xiu was invited to "Canglang Ting" shi, the poem "Qingfengdian this priceless moon, but only sell 40,000 of money" Tiyong the matter. Since then, "Canglang Ting" famous. SU, Canglang Ting abandoned several times, the early Southern Song Dynasty (12 century) was famous for the anti-Kim Han Shizhong the House, the Qing Emperor Kangxi 1946 (1696 AD) Xunfu Song Luo reconstruction of this park, near the Water pavilion built in the mountains shift the top to form the basis of the layout of today Canglang Ting, and Wen Zhengming,
The construct in Suzhou garden are very special and wonderful.the colour of the Suzhou garden is very nice,the colour matched very good.And there are many chinese culture and chinese tradition ideals in the Suzhou garden.
So after this class I know Suzhou garden more than before.I went to Suzhou garden when I was 10 years old,but now ,I hope I can go there again.
